How outsourcing helped my Firm of Chartered Accountants - ALEXANDER-PASSE & CO. - Initor Global

Gabriella Alexander-Passe (FCA FCCA) is the sole proprietor of a thriving Firm of Chartered Accountants based in London. Alexander-Passe & Co was founded by Gabriella in 1990, specialising in tax and accounting services for individuals and SMEs. The Firm has a diverse range of clients. Some have complex Group structures covering different tax jurisdictions, including North America and the UK. Each requires specialist advice from Gabriella to ensure their tax and accounting arrangements are managed effectively.

After researching the market for outsourced accountants, Gabriella contacted Initor Global early in 2024 to explore options for building the capacity and resilience of the Firm.  Gabriella needed access to flexible resources to deliver work quickly and efficiently, freeing up her time to provide the personal contact her clients need.

The Initor Global on-boarding team reviewed Gabriella’s requirements and offered various solutions to help meet the Firm’s needs. The Firm began sending year-end accounts preparation work to the offshore team in March 2024. After a successful pilot, the work sent to the offshore team has built up steadily to include bookkeeping, freeing capacity for Gabriella and her team to work on engaging new clients and delivering the specialised services clients need.

Given the specialised tax and accounting requirements of certain clients, the Initor team is now looking at ways to support Gabriella using offshore accountants familiar with the tax and accounting frameworks in North America. This will provide further scope to take on new clients, confident in the knowledge recurring work will be delivered on time and on budget.
